The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME) and the host Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME), observed Monmouth Academy's basketball team overwhelm Waterville by a score of 47-12.
The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison (Madison, ME). The Bulldogs come into the D South challenge with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Deering Rams (Portland, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 25. Waterville will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
