The Pioneer Diamondbacks basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears to 26 in the Diamondbacks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Diamondbacks now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clemens for a non-league game on Saturday, November 22. Pioneer will play a Buffaloes team coming off a 68-51 non-league loss to Edinburg (Edinburg, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Edcouch-Elsa (Edcouch, TX) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 2. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 2-1.
