The South Lyon Lions ice hockey team scored 4 points and held the visiting Midland Chemics to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
The Lions now hold a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 25. South Lyon will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI). The Patriots record now stands at 3-1.
The Chemics (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Freeland (Freeland, MI). The Falcons enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Freeland edged Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 8-0, in a non-league bout.
