In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks basketball team scored a big 61-34 triumph over the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes.

The Sharks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Crystal River (Crystal River, FL). The Pirates enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Crystal River overwhelmed Citrus (Inverness, FL), 53-21, in a non-league match.

The Hurricanes now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indian Rocks Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 25. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will confront a Eagles team coming off a 59-22 non-league loss to Northeast (St. Petersburg, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
