Georgia High School Basketball - Apalachee edges Lumpkin County

The Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), 60-56 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Clarkston (Clarkston, GA). The Angoras go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Clarkston got by North Clayton (College Park, GA), 57-55, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Chestatee for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 29. Lumpkin County will encounter a War Eagles squad coming off a 61-60 non-league win over Duluth (Duluth, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
