Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Palmer Bulldogs (Palmer, TX), 54-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Castleberry upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions host North Side (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Steers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 26. The Steers come into the bout with a record of 3-4. North Side won 51-33 in their recent non-league bout against Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Wortham Bulldogs (Wortham, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Palmer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
