Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Center Point Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 51-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hillcrest upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 5-2.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Center Point will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 43-37 non-league loss to Good Hope (Cullman, AL).
