Texas High School Basketball - Veterans Memorial holds off Harlan

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Harlan Hawks (San Antonio, TX), saw Veterans Memorial's basketball squad hold off Harlan by a tally of 59-54.

With the victory, Veterans Memorial improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Apaches in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 23. The Apaches come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Antonian Prep won 63-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Jefferson (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Hawks confront the St. Francis Episcopal (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 25. Harlan will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 58-42 non-league loss to Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes (Carrollton, TX).
