Texas High School Basketball - Montgomery tops Spring Woods

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX) and the host Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX), saw Montgomery's basketball squad knock off Spring Woods by a tally of 49-40.

With the victory, Montgomery improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Cleveland (Cleveland, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 1. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Cleveland won 49-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Tarkington (Cleveland, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Randle Lions (Richmond, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Spring Woods will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 74-30 non-league loss to Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX).
