Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA), 56-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Athens Christian upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lakeview Academy (Gainesville, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Gladiators play the Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 bout, on Friday, December 9. Clarke Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
