The Brooklyn Hurricanes basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Grand Valley Mustangs to 40 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richmond Heights for a contest on Tuesday, November 29. Brooklyn will meet a Spartans team coming off a 46-8 non-league win over Euclid (Euclid, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 2-0.

The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Lakeside was outscored by Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH), 59-40, in a non-league contest.
