The Lanphier Lions basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Cahokia Comanches to 36 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rochester for a Central State Eight contest on Tuesday, November 29.
The Comanches (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Granite City (Granite City, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Granite City dropped by Belleville East (Belleville, IL), 69-43, in a non-league contest.
