South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC), 45-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Johnston upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Cleveland won 67-22 in their recent non-league bout against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 30. Corinth Holders will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
