In Tuesday's non-league outing, the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) basketball squad edged the host Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), by a margin of 46-41.
The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Laney held off D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC), 54-34, in a non-league outing.
The Pirates now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dixon for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 29. Topsail will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-38 non-league loss to South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
