The Ferriday Trojans basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Bastrop Rams to 36 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Trojans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a 2A District 2 contest on Friday, November 24. Ferriday will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 68-38 non-league win over Bastrop (Bastrop, LA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-1.
The Rams (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Woodlawn-Shreveport ran past Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA), 85-23, in a non-league contest.
