Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Butler Lynx (Chicago, IL), 74-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lake Zurich upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Prospect won 64-34 in their recent non-league bout against Proviso West (Hillside, IL)

Next up, the Lynx play the Bulls College Prep Bulls (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 25. Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bulls come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 82-58 non-league loss to Taft (Chicago, IL).
