The Reed Olympians (New Orleans, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Chalmette Owls (Chalmette, LA), 34-33 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Olympians (1-0) will now prepare for their test against St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, St. Thomas Aquinas got by East Jefferson (Metairie, LA), 68-48, in a non-league test.
The Owls now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sumner for a non-league test on Wednesday, November 22. Chalmette will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 53-26 non-league loss to Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-5.
