De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA), 72-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, De La Salle upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cavalier travel to Bonnabel (Kenner, LA) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Bonnabel won 77-73 in their recent non-league bout against Hahnville (Boutte, LA)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. West Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
