The Gaston Day Spartans basketball team (Gastonia, NC), was toppled 67-55 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC)
The Gators now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lugoff-Elgin for a non-league battle on Monday, November 27. River Bluff will confront a Demons team coming off a 61-42 non-league loss to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Demons record now stands at 1-1.
The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Ardrey Kell was toppled by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 63-57, in a non-league battle.
