Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL), 61-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hewitt-Trussville upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, November 27. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Hillcrest lost 73-68 in their recent non-league bout against Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Corner Yellow Jackets (Warrior, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Hayden will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
