In Wednesday's non-league contest, the R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball team smashed the visiting Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), by a score of 71-49.

The Demons now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lee County for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 25. R.J. Reynolds will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 65-46 non-league loss to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-1.

The Yellowjackets (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Glenn triumphed over Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC), 52-48, in a non-league contest.
