Indiana High School Basketball - Morgan Township knocked off by Andrean

November 22, 2023: Valparaiso, IN 46383

The Andrean Fighting 59ers basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Morgan Township Cherokees to 27 in the Fighting 59ers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Fighting 59ers now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lafayette Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2.

The Cherokees (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, North Judson-San Pierre ran past Oregon-Davis (Hamlet, IN), 53-41, in a non-league contest.

Congratulations to #32 Peyton Honchar for being selected the Morgan Township Girls Basketball Player of the Game.
