Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL), 44-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Oak Lawn upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, November 24. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Wheaton North lost 46-39 in their recent non-league bout against York (Elmhurst, IL)

Next up, the Cougars play the Lane Tech Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 24. Conant will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Lane Tech come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 71-33 non-league loss to Lyons (LaGrange, IL).
