The Paramount Pirates basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting St. Mary's Academy Belles to 45 in the Pirates non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buchanan for a non-league contest on Friday, November 24. Paramount will battle a Bears team coming off a 60-38 non-league win over Roosevelt (Fresno, CA). The Bears record now stands at 4-0.
The Belles (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Reseda, CA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Cleveland prevailed over Moorpark (Moorpark, CA), 51-17, in a non-league contest.
