The Morris Jeff Pelicans basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Bogalusa Lumberjacks to 55 in the Pelicans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pelicans now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Freeport for a non-league game on Monday, November 25. Morris Jeff will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 62-56 non-league loss to Malone (Malone, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Bogalusa falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Slidell (Slidell, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 3-0. Slidell won 61-26 in their recent non-league game against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA)
