In Friday's non-league contest, the host East Central Hornets basketball team scored a close 76-74 win over the Churchill Chargers.
The Hornets (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX). The Apaches come into the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Antonian Prep edged McKinney Boyd (McKinney, TX), 63-51, in a non-league contest.
