Illinois High School Basketball - Decatur Christian nips Maranatha Christian Academy

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Decatur Christian Warriors basketball team scored a close 36-33 win over the Maranatha Christian Academy Huskies.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep (Rosamond, IL). The Frank come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep edged Maranatha Christian Academy (Mattoon, IL), 76-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the First Baptist Christian Knights (Danville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 2. Maranatha Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 56-40 non-league win over Quentin Road Christian (Lake Zurich, IL).
