In Friday's non-league contest, the host Firebaugh Eagles basketball team scored a close 60-58 triumph over the Delhi Hawks.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Madera South (Madera, CA). The Stallions go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Madera South nipped Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA), 61-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Ceres Bulldogs (Ceres, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 23. Delhi will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
