The Magnolia Bulldogs basketball team scored 83 points and limited the visiting Huntsville Hornets to 69 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lamar Consolidated for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Magnolia will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 55-34 non-league win over El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Huntsville falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Madisonville (Madisonville, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-0.
