North Carolina High School Football - Ayden - Grifton tops Holmes

November 22, 2024: Ayden, NC 28513

The Ayden - Grifton Chargers football squad scored 30 points and limited the visiting Holmes Aces to 13 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now hold a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kinston for a non-league test on Friday, November 29. Ayden - Grifton will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 26-13 non-league win over Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Holmes drops to 7-5 on the campaign.

Congratulations to #3 EJ Ruffin (overall), #75 William Doe (offensive), #11 Loyalty Fuller (defensive) and #30 Keiran Frawley (special teams) for being selected the Ayden - Grifton Football Players of the Game.
