Texas High School Basketball - Sotomayor trounced by Churchill

Churchill Chargers (San Antonio, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Sotomayor WILDCATS (San Antonio, TX), 64-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Churchill advances its record to 10-2 on the year. The Chargers travel to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to face the Sandies in a non-league match on Saturday, November 23. The Sandies enter the match with a record of 6-2. Amarillo won 52-23 in their recent non-league match against Reagan (San Antonio, TX)

The WILDCATS now own a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Connor for a 6A Region IV District 28 match on Tuesday, November 26. Sotomayor will face a Panthers squad coming off a 57-37 non-league loss to Lipan (Lipan, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 8-10.
