The Claymont Mustangs basketball team scored 35 points and limited the visiting Conotton Valley Rockets to 27 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host River View for a non-league game on Monday, November 25. Claymont will confront a Black Bears team coming off a 42-18 non-league win over Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH). The Black Bears record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Conotton Valley falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Buckeye Trail (Lore City, OH) to confront the Warriors in a Inter-Valley game on Tuesday, November 26. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 0-1. Buckeye Trail lost 58-44 in their recent non-league game against Caldwell (Caldwell, OH)
