The Oxford Prep Griffins basketball squad (Oxford, NC), was outscored 47-33 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC)

With the victory, East Wake Academy advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Eagles host American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC) to meet the Patriots in a non-league battle on Monday, December 2. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 0-4. American Leadership Academy-Johnston lost 60-14 in their recent non-league battle against Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC)

The Griffins now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Mill for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 26.
