In Friday's non-league contest, the host International School of Los Angeles Lions basketball team scored a big 63-10 win over the Southwestern Academy Sun.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers come into the Independence contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) was trounced by Milken (Los Angeles, CA), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Sun battle the San Gabriel Mission Pioneers (San Gabriel, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, November 25. Southwestern Academy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
