In Friday's non-league contest, the host Manvel Mavericks basketball team scored a good 50-34 win over the King Panthers.
The Mavericks (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kinkaid (Houston, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Kinkaid defeated Fulshear (Fulshear, TX), 74-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) in a non-league contest, on Monday, November 25. King will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record.
