Utah High School Basketball - Mountain Crest bests Layton Christian Academy

November 22, 2024: Hyrum, UT 84319

The Mountain Crest Mustangs basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Layton Christian Academy Eagles to 54 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Box Elder for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. Mountain Crest will confront a Bees team coming off a 61-31 non-league loss to Weber (Pleasant View, UT). The Bees record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Layton Christian Academy falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Grantsville (Grantsville, UT) to confront the Cowboys in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. The Cowboys go into the game with a record of 2-0. Grantsville won 77-36 in their recent non-league game against Richfield (Richfield, UT)
