Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Saline nudges Grosse Pointe North

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Saline Hornets ice hockey team scored a close 4-2 victory over the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen.
The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI). The Pioneers go into the Michigan Metro contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Pioneer edged Cabrini (Allen Park, MI), 15-3, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Norsemen play the Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 23. Grosse Pointe North will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Chiefs go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Belleville (Belleville, MI).
