North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina International thwarts Mountain Island Charter

November 22, 2024: Concord, NC 28027

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) and the visiting Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC), observed Carolina International's basketball team knock off Mountain Island Charter by a score of 54-44.

The Comets (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Palisades dropped by West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC), 50-26, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raptors encounter the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
