The Wekiva Mustangs basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Hope Academy Trojan Tigers to 33 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ocoee for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 4. Wekiva will confront a Knights team coming off a 68-45 non-league win over University (Orlando, FL). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Hope Academy falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Trojan tigers travel to Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL) to confront the Celtics in a non-league game on Monday, November 25. The Celtics go into the game with a record of 0-1. Trinity Catholic lost 72-57 in their recent non-league game against Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL)
