The Mary Star of the Sea Stars basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears to 28 in the Stars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Stars now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to California Academy of Math & Science for a non-league game on Monday, November 25. Mary Star of the Sea will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 41-30 non-league loss to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-1.
