In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Langdon/Munich Cardinals volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Thompson Tommies.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Max (Max, ND). The Cossacks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Tommies meet the Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 23. Thompson will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to South Prairie (Minot, ND).
