The Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX) basketball edged the host Yantis Owls (Yantis, TX), 53-46 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Blue Devils now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Boles for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 25. Celeste will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 78-67 non-league win over Ector (Ector, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Owls encounter the Christian Home Educators Knights (Sulphur Springs, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 2. Yantis will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
