The Wells Pirates basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Chireno Owls to 54 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pirates now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Corrigan-Camden for a non-league game on Monday, November 24. Wells will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-35 non-league win over Trinity School of Texas (Longview, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.

The Owls (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Pollok Central (Pollok, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Pollok Central held off Timpson (Timpson, TX), 47-38, in a non-league test.
