Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Augustine victorious over Destrehan

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host St. Augustine Purple Knights basketball team scored a good 67-53 triumph over the Destrehan Wildcats.
The Purple Knights (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA). The Fighting Eagles go into the 5A District 9 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Warren Easton topped Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA), 66-15, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonogh 35 for a non-league match on Monday, December 1. Destrehan will face a Roneagles squad coming off a 61-50 non-league loss to Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA). The Roneagles record now stands at 0-1.
