The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Red River Bulldogs (Coushatta, LA) and the host Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA), observed Red River's basketball team overwhelm Franklin Parish by a score of 81-45.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Pineville trounced North Caddo (Vivian, LA), 68-50, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots encounter the Ferriday Trojans (Ferriday, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 2. Franklin Parish will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
