The Sotomayor WILDCATS basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host La Joya Coyotes to 50 in the WILDCATS non-league triumph on Saturday.
The WILDCATS now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Judson for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 25. Sotomayor will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 57-56 non-league win over Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 4-2.
The Coyotes (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Johnson (Buda, TX). The Jaguars come into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Johnson was defeated by Weslaco (Weslaco, TX), 56-51, in a non-league outing.
