Texas High School Basketball - Taft toppled by North Mesquite

November 22, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78253

North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), 56-38 in a non-league match.

With the victory, North Mesquite advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Stallions host Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to battle the Gophers in a non-league contest on Monday, November 24. The Gophers go into the contest with a record of 2-0. Grand Prairie won 52-51 in their recent non-league contest against Midlothian (Midlothian, TX)

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Holy Cross Knights (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league contest, on Monday, November 24. Taft will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.
