Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Marlin Bulldogs (Marlin, TX), 46-38 in a non-league contest.
The Fighting Owls (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Buna (Buna, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Hico Tigers (Hico, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 2. Marlin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 5-3 record after their 71-54 non-league win over Huckabay (Stephenville, TX).
