The Hyde Park Panthers (Austin, TX) basketball edged the host Bishop Gorman Crusaders (Tyler, TX), 33-30 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Flatonia (Flatonia, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Flatonia edged St. Michael's (Austin, TX), 50-37, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Crusaders meet the Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, December 2. Bishop Gorman will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 53-39 non-league win over West Rusk (New London, TX).
