The Bridge City Cardinals basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Tarkington Longhorns to 11 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Hardin for a non-league outing on Monday, November 24. Bridge City will face a Oilers squad coming off a 51-31 non-league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, TX). The Oilers record now stands at 4-3.

The Longhorns (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Little Cypress-Mauriceville was ripped by Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX), 35-32, in a non-league game.
